Stefano Goberti – EIP Summit 2024

At the EIP Summit 2024 Plenitude CEO Stefano Goberti ended the day by talking about Plenitude being at the forefront of implementing Eni’s energy transition strategy. When asked why Plenitude became a standalone part of parent company Eni, Goberti emphasized the importance of building a business that can stand on its own: “Plenitude is focused on growth, thanks to the synergies we can use internally. About 60% of liquidity is generated from the cash flow we generate internally, and the remaining 40% we easily borrow on the market, also thanks to the investment-grade rating from Standard and Poor.” Regarding the company’s registration as an Italian Benefit Corporation (Società Benefit), he also said that their goal was “the wellbeing of the entire society and not just its stakeholders.”
