Energy Infrastructure Partners started in 2014 with a Swiss focus. Today EIP has formed partnerships with many leading players in the global energy business – many of them with decades of history and strong access to capital markets.
So why do partners turn to EIP?
According to Josu Jon, CEO of Repsol, the ambition wasn’t to sell more assets but to grow more. Stefano Goberti, CEO of our portfolio company Plenitude, on the other hand states that they were looking to find somebody who can challenge their views or give them an extra push. And for Aurelien de Meaux, CEO of Electra, the way of communication and the strong bond EIP creates with their portfolio companies, is one of the reasons they like the partnership.
