NZZ: Data centers need more and more electricity

In times when traditional energy companies are holding back on nuclear technology, tech giants with their deep pockets could boost research and thus pave the way for new nuclear power plants. This development is also observed by Peter Schümers, partner at Energy Infrastructure Partners: "The rise of artificial intelligence has further intensified the urgency of investments in energy infrastructure, and technologies such as nuclear energy are being discussed again."
