- Mr. O’Connor brings 14 years of experience as investment committee chair of BlackRock Climate Infrastructure
ZURICH, April 21 2026 — Energy Infrastructure Partners AG (EIP), a leading energy infrastructure investor focused on the megatrends of decarbonization, digitalization and security, is pleased to welcome Rory O’Connor as an independent member to its Investment Committee. Mr. O’Connor brings more than two decades of senior investment and leadership experience in energy and climate infrastructure from his time in NTR plc, a long-term sustainable infrastructure investor, and at BlackRock.
Mr. O’Connor spent 14 years at BlackRock where he served as Chair of the Investment Committee and Global Chief Investment Officer for BlackRock Climate Infrastructure. During this time BlackRock Climate Infrastructure invested globally in onshore and offshore wind, solar, energy storage and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Mr. O’Connor was a founding member of the Climate Infrastructure platform at BlackRock and played a central role in building and scaling the platform and team globally.
