
Energy Infrastructure Partners Completes Follow-On Investment in Plenitude
- EIP increases stake to 10% in Plenitude, bringing total investment to approximately EUR 800 million
- Transaction underscores confidence in Plenitude’s growth trajectory, integrated business model and leadership team
ZURICH & MILAN, 31 March 2025 — Energy Infrastructure Partners AG (EIP), a leading investor in energy infrastructure focused on opportunities created by the megatrends of decarbonization, digitalization and security, has completed its follow-on investment on behalf of its clients in Plenitude, a global integrated energy transition platform controlled by Eni.
The transaction increases EIP’s stake in Plenitude’s share capital to 10%, with a total investment of approximately EUR 800 million, including the initial investment of EUR 588 million in March 2024 and the current capital increase of EUR 209 million.
The investment reaffirms Plenitude’s strong performance and leadership in renewable energy, energy retail and e-mobility infrastructure.
